Mocking Browns Mock Drafts...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??!!??!!!!

Elliott Kemmel sounded suspiciously familiar to me as he lists six good-to-excellent wide receivers on the current Browns roster.  For obvious reasons he, too, said that the Browns need wide receivers like they need a hole in the head.

Kemmel also brought up Ricardo Louis, and the potential re-acquisition of Rod Streater.

Corey Kinon's mock draft has Jeffery Simmons in the first round, and Old Dominion's Oshane Ximines in the second.

Ximines (who clearly hails from Mars with a name like that) is NOT a linebacker, and is a shrimp at defensive end.

Corey thinks he would compete with Ogbah and Rodney Averyfield for a specialized passrushing role.  Huge swing and miss.

In round three...a wide receiver?  Sorry, Corey steeerike!

In round three (at 31)...oh jeez this is disasterous an offensive tackle!?! YERRR OUT!!!

Corey picked a 6'3" cornerback in the fourth round.  That one might or might not make sense, but I won't dig any deeper here.  Corey left his credibility somewhere on his backtrail.

Corey is actually a smart guy, but you don't draft an undersized edge-rusher who can't cover in the second round when you already have Avery...you don't draft offensive tackles unless they're better than the ones you already have, and ditto wide receivers (see first paragraph).

Jeez I feel like I just kicked a puppy...sorry Corey.  Keep working on it!

The rest of these mock drafts are equally as clueless (no offense intended).  A couple of guys are LESS clueless as they nab DT Wilkins in the first round, but everybody goes after offensive tackles and wide receivers...

I do like 6'4" WR DK Metcalf and CB Byron Murphy--but at 17th overall?  Over the Defensive Tackle? Wilkins or Simmons?  

...there's something wrong with these people.  You people need to listen to ME...and notice when I say things first.

I'm really encouraged by these mock drafts, anyway.  None of those guys are stealing from this Blog.

Kemmel might be, but at least he has a brain of his own...still...I suspect he's one of those guys who read this Blog and pretend they thought it all up themselves.

I should never have included my Blog link when I applied to write for these sites before.  They started raiding me.  It's despicable...but I digress
