Trade for Eagles Lineman Whatshisname Vaitai Makes Sense. How REFRESHING.

Nate Solder?  Really?  You people!  WHY would the Giants make that trade?  Because they're bored?  Come on people!  Who would play Left Tackle for them?  THINK!

Nick Dudukovich offers some realistic trade options ahead of the deadline, starting with Eagles utility guy Vaitai (not even trying that first name).

Since the Eagles would apparantly want an immediate impact cornerback rather than some late round draft pick, this looks like a deal, assuming the Browns could lock Vatai up beyond this season (his contract expires).

Vaitai is a pretty good all-around player, and was the starting Left Tackle for the Eagles during their Superbowl run.

If they don't trade him, they're likely to lose him for nothing in return.

Short-term, Vaitai looks like an upgrade at Left Tackle in 2019.  Longer-term, he's excellent depth and a probable starter at guard or RT.

Yeah this one makes sense for both teams.  I wish I could bet on it.

Sans this trade, listen: They won't bench Greg Robinson unless they think Lamm or somebody else is actually better than he is.

Idiocracy, see?  Here I am explaining this...just kill me.
