Nice Haul, Anyway

My inner fan is having a temper tantrum about this trade, but my inner analyst is overruling him.

Inner fan is ranting and raving over the quarterback position.  These guys aren't the other guys and might do a good job picking players.  If they do then McNanomans visions of 1-11 can't happen, and they draft lower next season.

Franchise quarterbacks don't grow on trees, and RG3 gets hurt even if Hue Jackson can help him become one again.  This was probably their last chance.

But inner analyst agrees with Craig Lyndall.  Hue Jackson had to have signed off on this.  His target was either Goff, or else he didn't love either of them enough to fight for them.

Wentz has been dinged up recently by PFF and others.  The level of competition stuff is crap for a quarterback, but his team was a powerhouse before he got there and will remain one after he leaves.  It went undefeated while he was out with an injury.

No doubt, he can still be a good or even great quarterback, but to spend a number two pick on a guy, you need to be pretty sure, don't you?
The quarterback hunt isn't over.  Hue almost certainly has another target in mind.

Lynch and Cook are a cut above the rest for different reasons.  Lynch will take time to marinate.  Cook looks like a so so starter or a great backup.

The rest fall into a statistical category called "longshot".  And best I can recall, Brady, Romo. Wilson, Delholm, Werner, and...and...

And how many hundreds of guys picked later have we never heard of?

This is why I think it's Lynch.  I'm just afraid they'll get greedy and screw it up.

Too many fans read one article projecting this guy to go in the middle of the first round and assume that, even with Goff and Wentz off the board, the Browns can trade down and still get him.

They read that he's ranked as a high second or low first rounder and check their stone tablets:  Nope.  Can't pick him this high.

Hue might well like Prescott, Hogan, or somebody else a lot, but the tables should turn here: The analytics guys should point to the microscopic odds in favor of that working.

No doubt, one of them is Plan B, but Lynch must be Plan A, and they need to MAKE SURE of it, because this probably IS their last chance.

Lyndall was right to blast the "Coulda had Roethsenberger" mantra.  That guy would have got pounded out of the league on that Browns team.  The Steelers were vastly superior and could protect him.

Ross Tucker is on now: Maybe Hue thinks an Andy Dalton (forgot about him) could be there later.  I forgot about Dalton's backup in Cinci too what was his name?

Hmm...maybe Hue really is that good!

A caller called in blabbering about building the team first and then finding a franchise quarterback on the franchise quarterback tree.  Idiocy.

Ross thinks the Browns will be horrible next season.  He will again proclaim them the least talented team in the league.

If so, maybe the moon and stars will align and a franchise quarterback and the number one pick will be there next season.  But are you counting on that?

Are you counting on none of the high draft picks making an impact?  On me being wrong about Pryor? On RG3 not regaining his greatness?  On Hue Jackson and these coaches not winning any chess games? On a franchise guy even emerging in 2017?

If so, you need a brain transplant.

That caller should be Lynched.  Get it? Lynch ed?

Guys the Browns Might Draft

First, I wrote an entry yesterday that I won't publish til draft day.  I know that scumbags steal my thoughts and get paid to pretend they're me, and I'm afraid they'll blab and screw up what Sashi and Hue are trying to pull (if I'm right).

Just letting you know it's already in the can, with a title which has a double meaning for Sashi Brown.

My inner fan is burning with rage over the rumors I'm hearing about Sashi Brown doing everything he can to make sure the Browns never get a franchise quarterback.

But my inner analyst insists on making predictions.  I suppose it's possible that Hue Jackson thinks he's found the next Russell Wilson and has huge brass balls.  Or he actually does believe that RG3 will a: kick ass again and b: stay healthy.

If that's his call, I won't question it.  And I'm pretty sure that Sashi Brown can't override him on this.  As I've said before, that's why he answers to the owner, and not to Brown.

Putting that aside for now, here's what I think will happen if this...insane...Trade-down happens:

I think it will be the 49ers at 7 or the Eagles at 8.

An Eagles beat guy said that the Eagles don't have a second round pick, but that's okay with Sashi, who just wants lots of picks...because, I guess, he really does have some sort of OCD or other mental illness wtf?

Ok so he not only wants to trade away Wentz or Goff, but he doesn't mind trading him for a bunch of garbage okay fine.  Seriously I doubt that part of it since...He just can't be that insane, and Haslam had better "meddle" if he is.

I'm having a hard time staying on track here:

Never mind who they pick first at seven or eight.  Ill just say it's the Niners, just because they have a second round pick and I don't think DePodesta will let Sashi collect a bunch of garbage either.

So they get another high second rounder, and a first round pick in 2017.  Ok and a fifth rounder to make Sashi Sanford happy.

Next up is Joe Thomas to Seattle for number 26 and a low middle third round pick.

Now after wasting the seventh overall pick on anybody but Goff or Wentz they've got 26th overall, 32nd overall, 37th, 65th, 90th, and 99th left.  That's six in the top 100 left.

It's not enough.  They can auction number thirty two, moving down with Dallas maybe to 34 for their 2017 second round pick (stay with me here now they got an extra first round and extra third round 2017 pick in the bank).

Ok so what do they do with 26 34 37 65 90 99?

For the three slots between 26 and 37 there are several really good players, including some who could easily slide from higher projections.

These include:

ILB Reggie RaglandEli AppleJosh Doctson
Jason Spriggs, Noah SpenceChris Jonesand Derrick Henry.  (And of course Braxton Miller).

There probably isn't a choice about Spriggs or another left tackle with Joe gone.  You simply have to have a left tackle.

Spriggs is a great run blocker and dancer, but is vulnerable to the bull rush.  He needs work.  It would be rough for him.

A guy I respect said that his best position could be left guard, where he could be the next Alan Fanika.

Spence probably won't fall this far, but possibly.  Ragland is another somewhat optimistic listing.

Well, most of them are, except for Henry and Miller.

Why Henry?

Well, if you read this you know that the Browns need for a running back is a hallucination, but talent sometimes trumps need.

It's obvious that the 2016 Browns offense will be in very deep kaka if it can't run the ball.  It probably will be anyway, but controlling the clock can mitigate the damage.

I at first considered the Heisman trophy winner a one trick pony who didn't project well to the NFL, but several guys on NFL Radio have convinced me otherwise.

Henry was actually tested at tight end.  He ran tight end routes and caught passes.  Everybody was VERY impressed.  They said he looked like he'd done it all his life.  Natural hands.  Nice patterns.

He was expected to clock 4.6 and he ran 4.5.  He jumped out of the gym, showing superior fast-twitch explosiveness.

More recently, he was compared to Jerome Bettis (the Bus).  Bettis was shockingly elusive for a guy his size.  Henry isn't as nifty as the Bus was, but is faster and more solidly built (all muscle.  Freak).

My experts laugh at the "upright runner" knocks.  He's 6'3".  He leans into contact when he needs to.  In general, most "upright runner" critiques are stupid.

For the Browns, Henry could be like the Bus+Beastmode.  Marshawn Lynch had a lot to do with keeping Russell Wilson in one piece while he learned.

His addition would make this backfield extremely deep and formidable.  Henry caught few passes in college, but has proven that he can not only catch passes, but can line up in the slot and run patterns.

His height is a huge advantage as a receiver.  Most tight ends only have a couple inches on him, and I don't believe any are as fast.

Henry is top heavy right now, built like Hercules.  He can still add muscle to his lower body in the weight room to lower his center if gravity and get even bigger.

While he's not as elusive as the Bus, he is still very agile for his size.

His ability to pass protect isn't to be overlooked here, either.

I really like Isaiah Crowell, and wouldn't bench him.  I'd use both big backs with Duke Johnson.

Hue Jackson knows what to do with these guys.  In Cincinnati, he sort of alternated running backs.  He'd lean most heavily on whichever one matched up best against the opposing defense, but would always sprinkle the other guy in.

He has run two-back sets, and could do that here.  I can just imagine Henry and Duke in a huddle and both going to the slot with RG3 in a shotgun.  Go ahead, blitze! I dare ya!

I just had to throw Henry in here.  He's just a freak.  He can beat a defense down.  He hits a hole fast, and if a hole isn't there, sometimes he makes one.  The only way to tackle him is to take out his legs.  He can score from anywhere, because once he's past the big people, the little people are speed bumps (and he can outrun a lot of them.  His 40 time doesn't tell the whole story.  He's a long strider like Gordon).

It's clear the Browns need a receiver or two more than a running back, but Henry might help even more.

He will certainly scare the hell out of defenses, wherever he plays.  The Browns need guys like that.

How 'bout Spriggs, Miller, and Henry?

Please Lock Sashi Brown up Until the Third Pick.

I was ignoring the trade-down stuff until Adam Shefter weighed in and said that's what he's hearing.  Adam doesn't make stuff up, and he's almost always right about everything.

This irks the hell out of me.

But there's no way Sashi Brown will pull the trigger without Hue Jackson's approval.  That's exactly why Hue Jackson answers directly to Jimmy Haslam, just like Brown does.

Hue can go tattle on Sashi.  I think Jimmy would use Dee for this.  I can just imagine it:

Hue: Sashi says he's going to trade my quarterback away!  You promised!

Dee:  Sashi, is this true?

Sashi: Wull...but I can get so much stuff!!!

Hue: See?  I told you!

Dee: Now Sashi, what did we say about the quarterback?

Sashi:  No fair!  I already got him RG3!

Hue:  He's just for now!  You said I could pick one in the draft!

Sashi: You don't even know which one you want!  Say it!  Pick one now!

Hue: No!  I mean I like them both!

Sashi: See?  PFF says Goff is better and he's probably going to be gone!

Hue: I don't care Wentz is good too!  He's just different!  I can fix him too!

Dee:  Sashi, you know what we said.  Hue picks the quarterbacks.  You can trade the second round pick and Joe Thomas.

Sashi:  Oh, okay.  (Hue sticks his tongue out at Sashi).

Seriously, with Shefter weighing in, it means negotiations are going on.  I do believe Jackson has veto authority.  He has to.  He's the Head Coach and the quarterback expert.  To override him right out of the gate on the most critical decision any team can make would destroy this whole thing.

So what's going on?

Well, I heard Phil Simms on all the quarterbacks today.  He likes Goff best, but agrees that Wentz is also for real.

He likes Paxton Lynch a lot too, but picked at him a lot more for some mechanical things he sometimes does wrong.  But he did say that Lynch was the best short passer of the bunch, and that this would help him enormously as a pro.

Like everybody else, he said that he might be the most talented quarterback in this whole bunch, but would take time and patience.  Then he mentioned several other guys like him who had failed in the NFL.

THIS JUST IN!  According to inside sources, the Cleveland Browns have already agreed in principal with the San Fransisco 49ers to swap first round picks!

The Niners will include their 2016 second round pick, and their 2017 first round pick.

With the seventh overall pick, Hue Jackson will knock down and restrain Sashi Brown and send an assistant coach to the podium to draft Paxton Lynch.

Browns fans will cheer and boo and shrug.  Talking heads will say Lynch could have been drafted much much lower, and begin the slow process of whipping the mob into a frenzy.

Hue will let Sashi up once the pick is made, and help him adjust his tie.  Angrily, Sashi will trade Joe Thomas to the Seahawks for their first round pick, a third round pick, and a conditional 2017 fourth round pick.

With that pick, he will draft a left tackle, wide receiver, passrusher, tall cornerback, or other player of some sort.

Sashi will then auction off the top second round pick and move down perhaps five slots.  He will get an additional 2017 second round pick and a 2016 fifth round pick in return.

Back to back, he will draft Braxton Miller and somebody else in the second round.

He will then have a top third round pick, a bottom third round pick, and on day 3 trade his top fourth round pick for a 2017 third round pick and a 2016 sixth round pick.

He will later make a couple more trades to get additional picks in 2017.

RG3 will start the season behind a repaired offensive line and with inexperienced receivers and won't suck.  Josh McCown (who Hue and Jimmy wouldn't let Sashi trade for a seventh rounder) will back him up, and Paxton will marinate.

The Browns will get creamed early in the season but finish strong as Terrell Pryor and Braxton Miller go apeshit and surprise everybody but me.

They will finish 5-11, extend RG3, and come back scary.

...According to sources.

Well I let that get away from me there, but I'm just wildly guessing that Lynch could be part of this.

Or Dak Prescott.

Understand this: The Browns have nothing to gain by pretending they want to trade down.  All they could gain is the knowledge of what they could have gotten, and the emnity of everybody who negotiated with them in good faith.

No, they are not planning to draft number one next season, or betting all their marbles on RG3.

If Brown or DePodesta are too geeky to comprehend how critical the quarterback is, Hue Jackson isn't.

I suppose Hue might have the quarterbacks ranked differently than the majority.  If so, my guess would be Goff/Lynch/Wentz.

That's not hard to imagine.  Entering 2015, Lynch was the man.  In fact, he was the man until he got humiliated in his Bowl Game.

Here's another thing: Hue's system.  Most of you guys don't really understand Coacheze, but I'm fluent on it.  It took me several years to learn, but here are some tips to get you started.

1: Most of it is garbage.  Start by filtering out "at the end of the day", "what he brings to the table", "-ilize", "winning", and everything else you hear more than four or five times.

2: Nothing will ever be clear.  You have to fill in a lot of blanks in order to determine what the coach is carefully not saying.  He circles around it a lot.  You have to deduce what's in the circle.

Anyway, Hue said he won't change his system for RG3 or anybody else.  They will play in his system.

I believe what Hue is determined not to say is that he has a massive playbook, and in year one will only use the 15-20% of it that suits his personnel best.

His massive playbook includes read-option, west coast, vertical spread, Infante, Coryell, zone, man, and probably stuff nobody has ever seen before.

Hue's system is whatever will work best.

This brings us back to Lynch.  The big risk with this guy is his unproven ability to process information rapidly.  His arm, legs, and accuracy won't let him down.  Only his brain, or lack of effort, can stop him.

If Hue finds out that Paxton will never be like Manning, Brady, Rogers, Russell, or those guys, he will move on to Newton, or maybe Romo.

But you know...Ben Roethsenberger learned it, eventually.  How hard can it be?

At any rate, this massive offensive system of Hue's could be a big reason why he might think the talented kid with the big question mark is the guy he wants.

Or not.  Adam Shefter is only human, after all.

Hmm...The Browns have no motive to lie about a trade-down, but somebody else might...

Just a note on Pat McNanoman's 1-15 prediction:

Everybody seems to think the Ravens will bounce back this year.  Yeah now they got Mike Wallace to go deep and Gramps Smith will be back as good as ever and all that.  The free agents they lost?  "Next man up" yeah.  And Flacco!

Superstition.  They're rebuilding.  Great coach good quarterback and old guys and cheap free agents and lost studs.  The Wizard misplaced his magic wand a couple years ago and his draft picks haven't been up to par.

The Browns could get one or even two wins here.

I haven't even seen the schedule yet, but I bet they also have a shot to beat...do they play the Niners?  Or the Titans early?  Uh...

Well okay but look: COACHING made the defense worse last season, along with injuries in the secondary.  Gipson at strong and Whitten at free really?  That's reaching pretty far for a curve ball ain't it?

The outside linebackers in coverage more than passrushing.  Yeah they'll never see that coming!

Running exclusively to the weak side.  Going away from zone-blocking.  Losing Hawkins, then Hartline for several games.

And what about RG3?  I don't know how this will work, but this is the first time he's fully healthy, and a fresh start with Hue Jackson.  He wasn't just a dual threat-he has a great arm with great accuracy.

And Pryor.  Terrelle Pryor is going to slap you people awake.  Probably not right away, but by the end of the season.

They still got Duke, Gary, and Hawk.  They don't suck as bad as everybody thinks.

Ok ok there are some problems.  But 3-13 or even 4-12 wouldn't surprise me.  Everybody always assumes that all the tough teams are just as tough, when as often as not key free agent losses, injuries, and coaching changes set them back.

Pat needs to take a pill.

Not that I don't hope he's right.  I like drafting number one.  It would be great to auction that pick off...I mean if the Browns have their franchise quarter...dammit take Sashi's phone away will you?  Hue go tell on him!  Has this guy got trade ocd or what?

One chance.  One shot.  He wants to trade it oh god please let it be Hue wanting Lynch I can't take another decade and thirty more quarterbacks please no no nooooooo

Yet Still More Browns Draft Mock Mockery

I have to give this mock draft by Jason Marcum (Bleacher Report) a high grade.  It couldn't have flunked, since his top pick was Carson Wentz.  This guy at least knows which is the most important position in football.  I just hope that if the Rams take Wentz, he'd have put Goff there.

Based on his Big Board, I think he would have, since he ranked Goff third.  Obviously, Jason has the brains to put his thumb on the scale for quarterbacks.

Atop the second round, he takes center Ryan Kelly.  He probably doesn't foresee a Thomas trade as I do, or consider a trade-down here as I do, but Kelly is a real stud.

He's projected to go in the first round (for good reasons), but could easily slide this far.

While I really like this player, I'd personally consider need a little more and target Indiana tackle Spriggs or Braxton Miller here instead.

In the third, it's 5'11" 207lb. WR Pharoah Cooper.  I don't have a huge problem with this because Cooper is a home run hitter with the tools to play outside, as well as in the slot.  In the third round, this is a best available guy and a real weapon.

He drafts safety Darien Thompson atop the fourth round.  That's okay too, because Thompson is tall, hits hard, and gets interceptions.  He can play free or strong.  Although I don't see safety as a need, once again this is a good player if he drops this far.

He drafts a running back named Howard low in the fourth round.  He is a 230 lb. bruiser with some elusiveness to him.  He can catch passes, needs work on blocking, and might slide this low because he missed four games with different injuries.

While running back is absolutely not a need for this team, this is another really good player for the stable; a starting caliber talent low in the fourth round ok check.

Atop the fifth, it's Shilique Calhoun, a DE who would play OLB here.  I love this passrusher, but he's projected to go in the second round.

Jason is a real optimistic guy with several of these picks, but this one is out of hand.  If Calhoun makes it this far, outstanding.  I just doubt it.

Cornerback Jones low in the fifth.  Project with outstanding speed.  Why not?

Also in the fifth, tight end Jerrell Adams.  As you know, I'm a big Adams fan, but would take him low in the fourth, at least.  I doubt that he'll even make it that far.

Then a project corner who with a torn acl who will require a red shirt year that's fine in the sixth. Then another microscopic receiver in the seventh.

We need more of those like we need a hole in the head, but it's the seventh round so ok.

I wanted to give Jason a B (extra credit for the quarterback), but have to give him a C for cheating.

Jason, you took a bunch of guys two to four rounds below they were projected.  Bad Jason!

Browns Draft: It Must Be Goff. Or Wentz.

I don't always agree with Grossi, but am absolutely thrilled by what he said on the radio (think it was Hooley) about what the Browns should do with the number two pick.

They should stay right where they are and take whichever quarterback the Rams don't.  At last, another rational person!

Joe Banner said that if the Rams draft Goff, the Browns are in trouble.  I still don't get that.

Hooley (I think) kept bringing up the bevy of picks they could pile up in a trade-down, but Tony wasn't having any of that.

Hooley brought up how Jimmy Johnson built a dynasty off his trade-down, but Tony had the pin to pop that balloon: He already had Troy Aikman (and Walsh too).

As Tony says, only a quarterback can turn a whole team around.  Not a pass rusher, or a wide receiver.  Only the guy who handles 100% of the offensive snaps and 100% of the passing game.

As I've belabored to catatonia, Goff and Wentz are neck and neck and both regarded as potential franchise guys, and you can not pass them up.

Pat McNanoman wrote an opinion piece predicting a 1-15 season and the next thing I read is somebody asking Mary Kay why not trade down this year and get a quarterback next year.

Tony calls that "chasing ghosts", and rightfully so.  Next year's class looks weaker, NOT stronger, the top quarterback may not be as good as either of these two, and the Browns are far from a lock to draft even in the top five.

Why not draft the quarterback this year and trade down NEXT year huh?  THAT is what Jimmy Johnson did, after he refused to trade his first pick down and drafted Troy Aikman with it.

Acheman took a horrific pounding as a rookie, but then Johnson had that massive draft, and suddenly the Cowboys were contending.  Johnson's rebuild took all of two years, and had the whole core of his team assembled.

That is the model I'm sure DePodesta is studying here.  It's naive and presumptuous to assume that an analytics guy can't study the last five Super Bowls and discover where most of those quarterbacks came from (the top five in their respective drafts).

Another study came out looking at twenty quarterbacks who were picked outside the top five, but in the first round, since 2008.  The grand total of their playoff victories was one.

Tim Tebow.

Yeah yeah Wilson and Brady so stipulated, but these guys are literally around one out of seventy or eighty.

Oh I hear you: Those are just numbers.  It doesn't make Goff or Wentz as good as any of those Superbowl guys.  Top five picks crap out sometimes too.

True enough, but Jim Miller insists that these two are right there with Winston and Mariota.  Mike Mayock and Greg Cossell compare Wentz to Luck (without equivocation).  Newheisel likens Goff to Joe Montana.

You've got to sift through a mountain of that stuff to find a pebble of "they're not worth it" here.  That's mostly the pundits who just got used to saying it since the Luck draft.

No, these two quarterbacks project as franchise quarterbacks, and they are here now.

Go Tony Grossi! Draft the other guy, whoever it is!  Trade down!  In the second round!

Tyrod Taylor, the Bills, the Browns, and the Draft

All these rumors!  Here's another one for you.  A source has told myself that the Buffalo Bills are contemplating trading up from 19th overall with the Browns, and including Tyrod Taylor.

My source pointed out that Taylor sucked in the fourth quarter when trailing.  This is why they are reluctant to meet his salary demands which I assume

According to sources are astronomical.  Taylor is under contract for 2016, but the Bills face the possibility that he'll walk away in 2017.  According to sources, the Bills are looking for a way to cash out on Taylor and find his replacement.

Sources tell me that a deal with the Browns has already been made, contingent on which quarterback the Rams select, since the Browns have determined that the other guy is a bumb and a loser unworthy of being selected that high.

In addition to Taylor, the Browns would get the Bills' 19th overall pick, their fifth round pick this year, and a 2017 third rounder.

The deal makes sense for the Browns, as Taylor is a dual threat not unlike RG3.  My sources say "Hue Jackson loves Tyrod Taylor, and feels he could help him become one of the best quarterbacks in history".

I personally don't like this deal.  I defer to Hue Jackson on his opinion of Taylor's upside in his system, but in view of his unsettled contract and unwillingness to extend pre-trade, his undeniable issues in the fourth quarter when behind, and the fact that Buffalo would be jumping SEVENTEEN SLOTS to get the quarterback the Browns are trying to avoid like the plague, the Bills should cough up more stuff.

I believe Taylor should be considered a low first round pick at this point; in fact almost a second rounder.  The Bills start with say 19 and 30.

It's 17 slots, so they need to cough up their second round pick in this draft, and another second round pick in 2017.

After all, they are only making this trade in order to get Goff or Wentz, and the fact that the Browns would rather have Tyrod Taylor instead is irrelevant.

When I first thought of heard of this trade I wondered what was wrong with Goff or Wentz, and reviewed everything I could get on them, including the opinions of all my real experts.

No new answers.  Both quarterbacks have franchise potential.  I dug as deep as I could into negative comments, and couldn't find anything.

But what do I know?

You People Are All Insane

Jim Kelly.  Bernie Kosar.  Got it?

Knowing what we know now, if the Browns were in the same position as they are at this time, what would they do?

Pick one or the other, and call him your favorite.  Assume he is the one drafted ahead of you.  So, you trade down now because you can't draft that bumb, right?  Right?

Wrong, because that would be incredibly stupid, wouldn't it?  Wouldn't it?

Terry Pluto and Bud Shaw don't seem to get that it is possible for two quarterbacks to be approximately equal.  In fact, this is common sense.  Or is it that they think football people are manic extremists, or suffer some other form of mental illness?

Look at who the teams trying to trade up would be trading up for.  Wentz or Goff.  Are they dumbasses for wanting some bumb huh?  Are they?

Terry thinks it's laughable that the Rams have said they're not sure which guy they want yet.  Why?  Why don't you trade up unless you like Kelly and think Kosar is a bumb or vice-versa?  I don't get it.  What am I missing, Terry?

And Terry, those second quarterback taken statistics are irrelevant, except maybe the Ryan Leaf one because he was so atrocious.  These two guys are unique.  There's no voodoo going on here; numerology is just a hobby.  The number two isn't accursed.  DePodesta won't consider superstitions or lucky numbers.

And look at Hue Jackson.  He started out launching Big Bird out of the nest.  Most recently, he turned a so-so Andy Dalton into an elite quarterback, then kicked ass with a much different second round pick with zero experience.

Why on Earth, between Goff and Wentz, and maybe even Lynch, for that matter, couldn't Hue Jackson do the same thing?

What did he say about Wentz?  "He has everything you need", right?  Well, so does Goff!  Unless you think the hand-size thing is a biggee (btw Goff passed the wet ball test with flying colors-Wentz flunked).  Or his weighing 215 lbs temporarily (probably 225+ by 2017 duh)

You people are all insane, do you know that?  >snap-snap< wake tf up think THINK.

By the way I picked Kelly and Kosar for this because Kelly was a big brute and Kosar was 215 lbs.  And threw side-arm (we'll substitute that for small hands ok?).  Wentz is more athletic than Kelly but then Goff is much niftier than Kosar was so that's a wash.

In this example I personally would pick Kosar for accuracy and processing, but would somehow manage to force myself to draft Jim Kelly if Bernie was gone GOOD GRIEF STOP IT
